Phillip Phillip is back home in Georgia but Argentinian and Chilean fans are still dreaming about his recent shows in their home towns. After his triumphant return to Brazil, Phillip continued his short visit to South America with a show in Buenos Aires, Argentina, and for the first time, a visit to Santiago, Chile.
Although it was Phillip’ second visit to Buenos Aires, Argentinian fans were no less ecstatic than his first time around and they welcomed Phillip as his band with open arms. In an interview with El Clarin, Phillip talked about his previous visit to the city and how he remembered the fans “had sung all the songs” and “were without a doubt one of the loudest crowds I had ever seen.” Phillip also revealed to La Nacion he is hard at work on his third album:
We haven’t recorded anything yet, but we are writing a lot. There are already a lot of songs that we like a lot and some others that I hate, ha. I love this process of experimentation and I think there is great evolution in these new songs, both in the lyrics and the music that I’m writing and even in some vocals that I didn’t know I could do until now.
Two days later, Chilean fans crowded the historic Teatro Cariola for their chance to see Phillip and band rock out the place. After the show, Phillip spontaneously started signing a few autographs and taking photos with fans in the audience, a display of his well-known warm generosity. Chileans and Argentinian fans showed Phillip their love, and he gave them two amazing and unforgettable shows in return.
